About Namish Chand
With over 15 years of experience across customer service, UX design, content management, and project management, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a genuine people-first approach to my role as a franchise partner of The Local Guys Test & Tag New Zealand. Before starting this business, I spent my career helping organisations create safe, inclusive, and efficient workplaces. My work ranged from managing projects and improving user experiences to delivering services and ensuring compliance, always with a focus on reliability, professionalism, and building long-term relationships.
My favourite part of the job is electrical testing and tagging, making sure every piece of equipment is safe, compliant, and ready to use. Knowing that my work helps prevent accidents and keeps workplaces running smoothly gives me real peace of mind. I take pride in my attention to detail and the trust my clients place in me to protect their people, equipment, and business.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife and son, getting out and about to explore New Zealand. I also enjoy travelling to different countries and experiencing new cultures, food, and places. For me, it’s not just about running a business, it’s about being a trusted partner who helps keep workplaces across New Zealand safe, compliant, and ready for whatever comes their way.
